uyPuntos is a product whose primary purpose is to provide companies a centralized tool for the management of accumulation units generated by different events.

Technology

uyPuntos is developed on Java for an open technology architecture, and is composed of three layers: presentation layer, businesses layer and data layer.

It is a Web tool where all its functionalities are available through a browser, enabling quick launching and avoiding costs associated with installation in each of the work stations.


Requirements

Next, the recommended option is detailed:
Linux operating system
Apache Tomcat applications server
MySQL relational database
Sun Java 2 SDK

There are no functional differences in case a different platform is being used, for example: Windows and SQL Database Server, as well as any other applications server. The Relational Database may be either stored in the same computer as the application or in a different computer, and the solution may scale up if the activity so requires it.
